The Survey Research Centre has collaborated with the International Tobacco Control Policy Evaluation (ITC) Project since 2010. Over the past 7 years, SRC has programmed the ITC Project’s complex surveys in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. The pace, tight timelines, changing priorities, and unique requirements of the ITC Project require flexibility, resilience, quality assurance, and expertise. Our experience working with SRC has always been professional, courteous, collaborative, and flexible with a willingness to take on and tackle the unique challenges of our global project. SRC’s programmers and project managers are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but they are approachable, flexible, and willing to take on these unique challenges. The ITC team has a high regard for their capabilities and a high respect for their partnership in our important global work.

Where do you go when you need support for survey research? Having recently completed a national survey related to a large and growing public health problem - food allergy - with the Survey Research Centre at the University of Waterloo, I would highly recommend them to any colleague. Knowledgeable, professional, cutting edge, experienced, patient - these are all words that I would use to describe the staff and leadership of the SRC. Not only do they provide exceptional client service, they went over and above on more than one occasion.

I have worked with the Survey Research Centre several times with great success. The people I worked with at the Survey Research Centre were efficient and professional. One project had really tight deadlines and a lot of moving parts - but the Survey Research Centre juggled everything and delivered.

We worked closely with the SRC to conduct a randomized controlled trial on a community based Fall prevention program for young children. We were welcomed into the centre to see all levels of the data collection process and were impressed with the level of professionalism of the staff and the knowledge-base of the statistical consultants. We were particularly impressed with how the SRC provided statistical support after the data collection was complete, answering a number of questions about how to run complex sample models to answer our research questions. The reports were thorough, providing all information needed to conduct our analyses and publish in a high impact journal. We recommend them highly to other academic researchers.
