This month of July, Plant Operations - Environmental Services have teamed up with the Sustainability Office to highlight a Plastic-Free July. To do so, we welcome the University community to take the Plastic Free Pledge!
As we continue to face growing instances of extreme weather events and other climate-related emergencies around the world, it is common to experience feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, or grief. Join us for an in-person workshop on July 7, 2022 12:00 ET in the SLC Multi-Purpose Room (200 University Ave W, Waterloo ON N2L 3
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
