A marathon of three movies will take place as a way to celebrate Earth Day and raise awareness on the issues relating to climate change. Whether there is a film you've been dying to see or just want a break from exams, join us in EV3 1408 for some fun!

The Island President

An award winning film about President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives, who after bringing democracy to his country takes up the fight to keep his homeland – the lowest lying country in the world – from disappearing under the sea.

12:45PM - 2:25PM

WALL-E

An Oscar winning film about he distant future, where a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.

2:30PM - 4:00PM

Weather Gone Wild 

A CBC documentary which explores recent extreme weather events and the scientific projections of what we can expect over the next few decades. It features the Faculty’s own Dr. Blair Feltmate who will be making a appearance at the screening to say a few words about the film.
