Batteries should be recycled. Join the blitz.
Did you know that you can recycle batteries around campus? Batteries contain toxins that should be kept out of landfill.

From October 17-November 18, drop off your batteries at the collection bins at residence Front Desks in V1, UWP, and CLV!

Talk to Front Desk staff to fill out a ballot to win one of the following:

  • One solar battery charger (valued at approximately $70)
  • 10 WatCard top-ups of $10 (valued at $10)

Contest Terms: No purchase necessary, odds of winning will depend on number of participants. Winners will be asked to complete a skill-testing question before claiming their prize. Contest closes at 4:30pm on November 18, 2016. This contest is only open to registered University of Waterloo students and employees, including Affiliated and Federated Institutions. Winners will be selected on November 22, 2016.
