Wednesday, February 23, 2022 10:00 am - 11:15 am EST (GMT -05:00)

Research seminar

In this talk, Dr. Mojtaba Sharifi will go over the research projects he has done in the field of Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics, Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), and Soft Robotics in the past twelve years. His presentation is organized in three sections, which cover his research achievements from his MSc to Postdoc. The first one is devoted to his research area during the MSc and Ph.D. programs on the “Control of HRI: Medical Robotic and Tele-Robotic Systems”. After that, he will talk about his recent contribution made on the “Design and Development of Exoskeletons with Soft Components for Safe HRI”, with biomedical and industrial applications. The third part of this presentation is dedicated to his research projects on the “Interaction Learning and Autonomy for Assistive and Rehabilitation Robots”.  Throughout this presentation, the theoretical and experimental aspects of these studies will be elaborated on.
