 nostics have\nnever been more crucial. Field electron emission (FE) based 
 X-ray\nsource which is a more responsive and controllable alternative to\n
 traditional thermionic-emission-based X-ray sources has stimulated\nmuch r
 esearch interest. Among the materials for FE\, carbon nanotube\n(CNT) is o
 ne of the most promising candidates due to exceptional\nproperties such as
  a high aspect ratio and good electrical and thermal\nconductivities.
