Systems Design Engineering undergraduate students have access to faculty-wide facilities such as public computing labs and the Student Machine Shop.
In addition to these facilities, undergraduate students of the department of Systems Design Engineering have use of the following facilities:
The undergraduate classrooms are located in close proximity, in the 6th floor of E5 Corridor 6812 & 6809, and are dedicated to our students to provide a consistent and well-equipped environment for learning.
Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory
The Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory is located in E5 6005, and is equipped with contemporary and comprehensive hardware and software to enhance the educational experience of our students.
Undergraduate Computer Laboratory
The Undergraduate Computing Laboratory is also located in E5 6007, and provides networked Windows-based computers. A comprehensive collection of software is installed on these computers to aid our students with their academic course work and extra-curricular interests. This laboratory is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to Systems Design Engineering students.
The Undergraduate Workshop is located in E5 6012 and 6013 interconnected rooms. This facility provides a large space and a variety of equipment for the design and construction of prototypes as required by the curriculum. The workshop laboratory is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to Systems Design Engineering students.
Undergraduate Study Space
The Undergraduate Study Room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to Systems Design Engineering students, and is located in E5 6011 in close proximity to our classrooms. This facility is furnished with tables and chairs for studying or meetings, and has a refrigerator, microwave oven and a kettle for student use.
