The book of Joshua has been used to support war, conquest, and genocide. “In a time of religious justification for terrorism and counterterrorism, Joshua may well be a book for our time!” – Gordon Matties.

Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity and Pastoral Care: New Opportunities

This two-hour “Ministry Forum” is open to MCEC pastors and alumni of the MTS program. 

Steph Chandler-Burns, assistant pastor at Erb St. Mennonite, and Carol Penner, on faculty at Grebel, will lead a discussion with a role play, followed by small group discussion. 

This is an opportunity for pastors to meet each other over lunch and explore an important topic.

What have we learned about the needs and resources of older adults, specifically, as we’ve been thrown into new ways of being with our congregations?
