Spring Graduate Research Seminar

Each year, graduating students in the Master of Theological Studies program participate in the Graduate Research Seminar. This seminar provides an opportunity for students in the Coursework and Applied Studies options to present a paper and to read and respond to another student's work.

“To me, theological studies is endlessly interesting because it touches on every area of learning and discovery,” reflected Professor Jeremy Bergen, Director of Theological Studies (TS) at Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo.

Carol PennerThe Conrad Grebel University College Board of Governors, at its April 12 meeting, enthusiastically approved the recommendation of the Search Committee to hire Dr. Carol Penner as Assistant Professor of Practical Theology.

One way that Conrad Grebel University College fosters community is through its academic publication, The Conrad Grebel Review (CGR). Reaching out to a global community of scholars, CGR is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal of Christian inquiry devoted to thoughtful, sustained discussion of spirituality, theology, and culture from a broadly-based Mennonite perspective.

The Theological Studies program at Grebel is a great place to study in preparation for a career in ministry. Some recent grads have been ordained in the last year:
