Please join us for a special guest presentation from Rachelle Friesen as she draws on her experience as the Mennonite Central Committee Peace Co-ordinator for Palestine to discuss and deconstruct Israel and Canada's controversial relationship with Palestine. Friesen served in this role for four years until she was deported by Israeli authorities on May 29 of this year, shortly before her term was scheduled to end. Feel free to invite friends!

Visiting Fellow, Kyle Gingerich Hiebert, will share some of his research on this topic and encourage conversation. Hiebert recently received his PhD in religions and theology from the University of Manchester (2013). His thesis was titled, "The Architectonics of Hope: Violence, Apocalyptic, and the Transformation of Political Theology."
