Sarah Kathleen Johnson is a PhD Candidate at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and a Visiting Fellow at the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre, her academic home while conducting ethnographic research in Toronto.
The Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre (TMTC) is excited to announce that our 2020 Public Lecture will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 7pm in the Jay Boardroom at the Toronto School of Theology. Our lecturer this year is Dr. Chris Huebner, Associate Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Canadian Mennonite University, and we are delighted to have Dr. Néstor Medina of Emmanuel College responding.
Andy Martin is a PhD candidate at Regis College, Toronto School of Theology. Andy will present a paper entitled "Identifying the Sacramental in Anabaptist-Mennonite Spirituality." This research comes out of his dissertation on "Old Order Mennonite Spirituality: An Analysis of Historical Parallels and Mystical Elements of a Contemporary Anabaptist Ascetic Community."
