Please join us for a special ecumenical book launch for The Architectonics of Hope: Violence, Apocalyptic, and the Transformation of Political Theology, written by TMTC's Director, Kyle Gingerich Hiebert. The event is designed to bring together a wide range of people from across the Toronto School of Theology and beyond. An introductory overview of the book by Max Kennel, TMTC Associate and doctoral student at McMaster University, will be followed by a series of engagements with the book from a variety of theological perspectives from:
- Brian Butcher (Sheptytsky Institute)
- Norm Klassen (St. Jerome's University)
- Travis Kroeker (McMaster University)
- Joseph Mangina (Wycliffe College)
A response from the author will then be followed by a time for open discussion. The newly arrived Sheptytsky Institute has graciously offered to host the event at Windle House on Tuesday, March 6th from 4–5:30pm. Please circulate this invitation widely and plan to join us for what promises to be a spirited theological discussion!
