The TMTC Annual Fall Welcome is a wonderful way to begin the year, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones. In 2020 we moved our events online and re-framed this fall tradition into a celebration of research. The virtual welcome events were a resounding success the past two years and we are excited to gather again for a similar celebration this fall.
Many of you have had recent publications, won prizes, awards, and grants, submitted whole dissertations or chapters, had proposals accepted, presented at conferences, designed and taught courses, and much more besides. We want to hear about the work you’ve been doing and invite you to come prepared to share a short snippet—an “elevator pitch” if you like—of some aspect of your research over the last year or so. We hope this will be a great way to kick off the year with friends old and new that will weave a wonderfully diverse tapestry of the important and engaging work being done by those associated with TMTC.
