News Release: The Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre has ceased its regular programming. Grebel will remain an affiliate member of the Toronto School of Theology. Some other TMTC activities will likely continue under the leadership of other institutions. There will be final virtual event in Fall 2023. New issue of the Conrad Grebel Review

The Fall 2020 issue of The Conrad Grebel Review is now avaialbe online and in print.

This issue of  The Conrad Grebel Review  addresses two pressing contemporary  concerns: sexual violence and abuse  in the Mennonite church, and ecology and land.

This issue includes Carol Penner's Eby 2020 Lecture on "#MennnonitesToo: Sexual Violence and Mennonite Peace Theology."

The issue also includes the following series of papers entitlted "Encounters with Jedediah Purdy":

  • Joseph R. Wiebe, "Jedediah Purdy’s Environmental Politics"
  • Peter Dula, "The Accidental New Atheist"
  • Sarah Stewart-Kroeker, "Horizons, Political and Theological"
  • Daniel Sims, "Concerning Cruelty, Clemency, and Commonwealths"

It also presents book reviews on an array of topics.

CGR seeks to advance thoughtful, sustained discussions of theology, peace, society, and culture from broadly-based Anabaptist/Mennonite perspectives. The editors  welcome submissions on diverse topics from a wide range of academic fields and invite written responses to previously published articles.
