William is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History at Wilfrid Laurier University. He also completed his BA and MA at Wilfrid Laurier University. William’s doctoral research examines the development, evolution, and effectiveness of community policing programs in Toronto in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. William also works full-time as a Research Analyst for the Ontario Provincial Police, where he has authored research reports on topics ranging from police officer safety, Canada’s bail system, forensic identification practices, and gender-based violence.
