Meet Jean Becker, UWaterloo’s first director of Indigenous initiatives, in conversation with Lori Campbell, director of the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre. Over many years in the Waterloo region, Jean has built reciprocal and respectful relationships between post-secondary institutions and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities. We are now very fortunate to have her back on campus to guide our university’s Indigenous initiatives and effective response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action. Jean is Inuk and a member of the Nunatsiavut Territory of Labrador.
