JP GLADU SCHOLARSHIPS IN INDIGENOUS ENTREPRENEURSHIP

We are thrilled to introduce a new scholarship initiative aimed at empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs. The JP Gladu Scholarship Fund, named in honor of the esteemed former United College Chancellor and a leading advocate for economic reconciliation and Indigenous business, will award $4,000 scholarships to outstanding Indigenous youth enrolled in the Indigenous Entrepreneurship diploma program. The program is offered through United College in collaboration with local partners and serves communities throughout Canada.

This scholarship opportunity is designed to support the brightest and most innovative Indigenous students pursuing a career in entrepreneurship. By providing financial assistance, the scholarship aims to help students achieve their goals and become successful entrepreneurs. Recipients of the JP Gladu Scholarship are selected based on academic excellence and a demonstrated commitment to entrepreneurship.

We are proud to support Indigenous youth in their pursuit of entrepreneurship and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their communities and beyond.

I think Canadians fundamentally believe we shouldn’t be leaving anyone behind. Our Indigenous people have been left behind for a very long time. We’ve got to get caught up. And it’s important that we do so, because a stronger Indigenous economy means a stronger Canada. That’s the bottom line.
