Make an impact on youth wellbeing!
Changemaker Labs is a pilot project run by GreenHouse at United College. Youth aged 15 to 30 in the Waterloo Region will engage in social innovation training to tackle challenges proposed by local community organizations, with a focus on youth wellbeing. Challenges will expand on the results of the Spring 2021 Youth Impact survey coordinated by the Child and Youth Planning Table. Young changemakers will connect into meaningful opportunities to identify, build, and test new innovations in small teams.
Changemaker Labs will cumulate in a showcase event on March 27, where program participants will pitch their ideas to community partners. The top three teams will win a cash donation for their community partner.
