UW Goes Red for United Way

• Everyone on campus wears RED to support the kickoff of the University of Waterloo United Way Campaign; HR department picture will be taken at 11:30 to show United Way spirit!
• Anyone not wearing red in the HR department will receive a ticket to pay a $2 fine!

• A dice will be placed at reception in HR
• $1 to roll to win either a TRICK or a TREAT!

• A spin on the candy jar guess; a jar with various gift cards containing carious cash value will be placed at reception
• $1 to guess the total cash value in the jar (show off your math skills!)
• The closest guess wins the jar of gift cards! We will have a tie breaker if required

Join us on October 4th in DC and take awesome pictures in front of our new step and repeat banner for the United Way Campaign launch!

Photobooth with the step and repeat will be up in the DC foyer from 8-10 am. Take pictures, use #UWUnitedWay , and start getting excited for the 2016 campaign!

Dean of Arts Office is hosting a bake sale to celebrate and support the 2016 United Way Campaign launch!

Feel free to bake up your favourite treat to contribute to the cause! 

The offices of the President, Provost and Secretariat & General Counsel invite members of the University community to visit their “Fresh Market” booth and help support the United Way. 

The Dessert Extravaganza now lasts all month long! Drop by the kitchen every Tuesday for tasty baked goods.

Suggested donation: $3 per week. Drop your gift in the fishbowl in the kitchen.

Human Resources is hosting a cookie exchange event to support the United Way campaign!

• Anyone wanting to bake; bakes 2-3 dozen of their favorite kind(s) of cookies/cupcakes/squares etc.
• Treats displayed, and can be purchased (by anyone!) $4 per 6 (1/2 dozen)

Waterloo Residences is hosting a bake sale on Thursday October 6 in the MKV MPR from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. All staff are welcome to come to this event.

A spin on our traditional BINGO! Buy a word search card for $3.

We will draw 2 words a day and the first person to find 10 words on their card wins!
