Erin understands the importance of leading a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle and has the desire to help others achieve this for themselves.

Growing up as a competitive dancer brought a love of physical activity from a young age. It also made Erin aware of the injuries that can occur from a passion in sport. This, as well as an interest in science, drove her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

Over the past decade, Erin has worked in many facets of the kinesiology field. She has experience providing ergonomic services in both the industrial and office settings, managing corporate wellness programs at multiple workplaces and leading a large variety of group fitness classes. Throughout the span of her career, she has attended many workshops and conferences and holds specialized certifications in group cycling, kettle bell and TRX training.

Since 2008, Erin has been with UW Fitness as a Certified Exercise Physiologist providing fitness services to the general public, individuals with chronic disease, fire fighters, athletes and faculty researchers. She has recently developed the UW LIVING-FIT program, which is a support group that is aimed at increasing physical activity among women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
