Dr. Stastna will deliver a seminar on High-order simulations in environmental fluid dynamics: from boundary layer turbulence to basin scale motions.

An open discussion about Citizen Rights under the Environmental Bill of Rights is being offered by SaveOurWater.ca and the Wellington Water Watchers. The discussion will feature Ellen Schwartzel, Deputy Environmental Commissioner of Ontario. The discussions will be in the context of Ontario's water permit process.

There is a Call for Papers for a Special Issue of the Journal of Hydrology on the topic of Water in megacities: new risks, new solutions. The issue will include scholarly contributions that:
- analyze the consequences for water resources and water management of urban growth and climate change, and
- propose innovative solutions for urban water systems in a globally changing environment.
