research data management)

Research data management (DM) is a critical part of a research program that enables improved data collection, processing, and archiving methods, which can increase the value and impact of your work. It involves making decisions about how you collect and look after your data, and then putting these decisions into action. Data Management is a growing component of research programs and funding applications, and it is an integral part of GWF operations. In this webinar, you will learn what Data Management is, why we do it, and what it looks like. We’ll discuss metadata and Canadian data policies, as well as the work of the GWF team and how it fits in with your research. This webinar, which is the first in a series of GWF DM programming, is ideal for investigators and HQP who want to learn more about the positive impact that DM brings to their research.  This webinar is facilitated by the GWF DM Team and hosted by Michael Steeleworthy (Faculty Lead for DM, WLU).
