Plastics in Waterloo Region - Free Film Screening Of 'Albatross'

Wednesday, July 25, 2018 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Did you know...
...that every piece of plastic ever made still exists today, and only 10% of what we throw away is recycled each year? That means the other 90% collects on land, in our waterways, in our bodies, and in our wildlife, often resulting in human illness and wildlife deaths. However, the story doesn't have to end this way!

Let's change the story!
Attend our open house, short presentations and film screening on Wednesday July 25, 2018 to learn more about how we can reduce our consumption of plastics and how to properly dispose of them in the Waterloo Region. Also, learn about some of the awesome initiatives happening right now in Waterloo and around the world that are changing the story every day. Get involved!
