Description: In the current era of Covid-19, many conferences, workshops, and in-person events are now moving online. As such, you may be asked to present your research in a virtual format. This creates many new challenges that can be difficult to navigate. While many presentation skills and best practices apply to both in-person and virtual presentations, expert presenters understand the importance of adjusting their approach to ensure connection with a virtual audience.
In this webinar, you will learn how to prepare virtual presentations that effectively describe your research in a short amount of time. This training session will give you the tools to narrow down the key elements of your research and create a short, engaging message to share with diverse virtual audiences.
We will also provide specific tips for creating elevator pitches and delivering lightning talks in a virtual setting.
