Water Institute Seed Grant Winter 2016 Competition Opens

The Water Institute is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for the Water Institute’s Seed Grant Program Winter 2016 competition. The purpose of the program is to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration, to facilitate interaction with national or international authorities, to encourage new areas of research and to encourage the development of research proposals.

UWaterloo Named Lead Contact in Canada-China Water Management Co-operation Agreement

The Government of Canada and People’s Republic of China named the Water Institute at the University of Waterloo as the lead contact on a new co-operation agreement for water management.

Bill Taylor Named 2016 Recipient of SCL's Frank Rigler Award

Water Institute member William D. (Bill) Taylor was been named the 2016 Frank Rigler Award recipient by the Society of Canadian Limnologists (SCL). The Frank Rigler Award is the SCL's highest honour, recognizing major achievements in limnology.
