We are a group of students, researchers and faculty at the University of Waterloo who are actively engaged in sharing ideas relating to research in various areas of applied health sciences, with a primary focus on digital health and health technology applications. We are housed within the School of Public Health Sciences and lead by faculty supervisors Professors Helen Chen and Ian McKillop.

We are a multi-disciplinary team composed of students from all levels (undergraduate, master, PhD) from computer science, public health and health systems, health informatics and systems design and engineering. Learn more about our team and members.
Interested in joining?
We welcome students from all disciplines with an interest in exploring innovative research in health systems and technology applications. We meet on a biweekly basis within the Toby Jenkins Applied Health Research Building. Those interested in becoming involved should e-mail Professor Helen Chen and include a brief description of their background and research interests.
