The Waterloo Institute for Hellenistic Studies, in associaiton with the Hellenic Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce a new lecture series, which will annually feature a distinguished international Greek scholar. This lecture series will deepen knowledge and foster pride and understanding about the importance of Greece and the role its leaders and peoples have played around the world. The goal of the series is to help ensure that future generations of Greeks, scholars, researchers, and the broader population will be inspired and intrigued by Greek language, culture, and history, as told through the lens of the Hellenistic period.

We are also pleased to announce that the first lecturer in this series will be Prof. Kostas Bouraselis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
