First automated public drive, December 2017

The autnomoose team (which includes WISE lab members) delivered their first public automated drive on Dec 22, 2017. The video shows advances in map construction, vehicle localization, object detection and tracking, route and vehicle behavior planning, and safety.

Waterloo team wins best paper award for SoSyM (Software and Systems Modelling) 2017

Our paper "Synthesis and exploration of multi-level, multi-perspective architectures of automotive embedded systems" published in the Software and Systems Modeling journal has won one of the six best paper awards for year 2017.

Good bye Generative Software Development Lab, long live Waterloo Intelligent Systems Engineering Lab!

The research focus of our lab has changed and we are changing the name to reflect that. The Generative Software Development Lab (GSD Lab) is now officially renamed to Waterloo Intelligent Systems Engineering Lab (WISE Lab).

We will archive the GSD Lab website, which will remain available at its current address

Waterloo Autonomoose team delivers a successful autonomous car demonstration at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017

Waterloo Intelligent Systems Engineering (WISE) Lab (formerly Generative Software Development (GSD) Lab) members (from Autonomoose Team) were involved in the successful Renesas autonomous car demonstration at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
