WUSA Food Bank (Spring 2020)
The Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) Food Bank is a student-run, non-profit organization. Its main function is to provide confidential assistance to undergraduate and graduate students to meet their basic needs. Our office is stocked with variety of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products. We additionally run unique projects and events to raise awareness of hunger problems and to raise food for our Food Bank and needy groups in the local area.

Reports to: Coordinators and/or Office Logistics Executive – Food Bank
Effective date: Spring 2020
Role Description: Stock up Hamper Stations on a weekly basis, help organize the storage space, and make new customized hampers in a timely manner.
Weekly Time Commitment: Minimum 1 hour
Aid in ensuring that the food bank, and all associated hampers are organized, and fully supplied with food.
- Help monitor expiry dates of food bank stock
- Keep the storage space organized and clean
- Help ensure that expired food is properly taken care of
- Check with and stock up the hamper stations on campus
- Respond to customized hampers order forms
