WCMS 3 Fundamentals - LEARN

Everyone who will be creating/editing content on your WCMS 3 website is required to complete this course.

This training is only for content maintainers of WCMS 3 sites. If you aren't sure if your site is a WCMS 3 site, ask your supervisor or contact wcms@uwaterloo.ca to find out if you need to complete this training.

This hands-on course for site maintainers will provide an overview of the main features of WCMS 3 including creating new content, editing content, uploading and adding images and documents, submitting drafts for review, reviewing drafts, publishing and managing content.

Just like the WCMS, this course is a work-in-progress and is going to evolve and improve as WCMS 3 continues to be developed. This course uses an experiential learning approach with activities that combine the modules in LEARN with your training site to help users gain confidence and become comfortable using WCMS 3.

We welcome your feedback on content, activities, and any questions you may have. We would like to work together as we continue to improve the WCMS 3 Fundamentals modules and your feedback is important to us.

If you have any questions throughout the course please contact charlotte.armstrong@uwaterloo.ca via email or through Teams.
