Website maintainers have two options available for Block quotes:


Block quotes

  1. From the Administration bar, select My Workbench.
  2. Select Create/Manage Content and select the content type you wish to add a Block quote to (ex. Web page).
  3. In the body, select the quotation you wish to change into a Block quote.

    Note: It is not necessary to use quotation marks when using the Block quote format.
  4. Click on the Block quote button in the toolbar.

  5. The quotation you selected will now be changed to a Block quote format.

  6. Click Save.
  7. Change the moderation state to Published and click Apply.

    Change moderation state to publish.

Block quotes with citation

  1. From the Administration bar, select My Workbench.
  2. Select Create/Manage Content, and select the content type you wish to add a Block quote to (ex. web Page).
  3. Place your cursor where you would like the Block quotes to appear, and click on the Templates button in the toolbar.

  4. The Block quotes with citation template will appear.

    Note: It is not necessary to use quotation marks when using the Block quote format.

  5. Copy and paste the quote into the template.

  6. Copy and paste the speaker into the template.

  7. The quotation you selected will now appear in the Block quote with citation format.

  8. Click Save.
  9. Change the moderation state to Published and click Apply.
