Website maintainers have two options available for Block quotes:
Block quotes
- From the Administration bar, select My Workbench.
- Select Create/Manage Content and select the content type you wish to add a Block quote to (ex. Web page).
- In the body, select the quotation you wish to change into a Block quote.
Note: It is not necessary to use quotation marks when using the Block quote format. - Click on the Block quote button in the toolbar.
- The quotation you selected will now be changed to a Block quote format.
- Click Save.
- Change the moderation state to Published and click Apply.
Block quotes with citation
- From the Administration bar, select My Workbench.
- Select Create/Manage Content, and select the content type you wish to add a Block quote to (ex. web Page).
- Place your cursor where you would like the Block quotes to appear, and click on the Templates button in the toolbar.
- The Block quotes with citation template will appear.
Note: It is not necessary to use quotation marks when using the Block quote format. - Copy and paste the quote into the template.
- Copy and paste the speaker into the template.
- The quotation you selected will now appear in the Block quote with citation format.
- Click Save.
- Change the moderation state to Published and click Apply.
