How to clone content

You can clone many different types of content to create a copy and save it with a different title and URL.

This how-to document describes how to create a web page similar to one that already exists on your website, using the clone content feature.

  1. From the Administration bar, click My Workbench.
  2. Click the Create/Manage Content tab.
  3. Select Web Page.

  4. Scroll through the list of existing web pages and select the one you wish to copy.

  5. From the Content tabs, select Clone content.

    Note: The heading on the new page will read "Clone of" and then the name of the existing page. Remember to change the heading to reflect the new content.

  6. Modify the existing content as desired.

    Note: Menu settings will revert back to default settings.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Change the moderation state to Published and click Apply.
