Embedding a Tweet is similar to adding a Twitter widget, where you can embed a Tweet on almost every content type.
Website maintainers can embed a Tweet using either an:
Using an Embedded Tweet code
- Find the Tweet you are wanting to embed. Example:
- To obtain the URL of this post, click on the Chevron symbol for that Tweet.
- A drop-down menu will appear. Select Embed Tweet.
- An Embed Tweet window will appear. Copy (Ctrl+C) the Embed code.
- Navigate to the piece of content you are wanting your Embedded Tweet to appear on.
- Place your cursor where you would like the Embedded Tweet to appear, and select the Twitter icon in the WYSIWYG toolbar.
- A Twitter Properties window will appear. From the Twitter widget type drop-down, select Embedded Tweet.
- Paste (Ctrl+V) in the Embedded Tweet code, and then click OK.
- Save.
- Publish.
Using an individual Tweet URL
- Find the Tweet you are wanting to embed. Example:
- To obtain the URL of this post, click on the Chevron symbol for that Tweet.
- A drop-down menu will appear. Select Copy link to Tweet.
- A Link copied notification will appear at the top of your screen.
- Navigate to the piece of content you are wanting your Embedded Tweet to appear on.
- Place your cursor where you would like the Embedded Tweet to appear, and select the Twitter icon in the WYSIWYG toolbar.
- A Twitter Properties window will appear. From the Twitter widget type drop-down, select Embedded Tweet.
- Paste (Ctrl+V) in the Individual Tweet URL, and then click OK.
- Save.
- Publish.
