A Venn diagram with three circles representing the three primary colours of subtractive colour mixing: yellow (top), cyan (left), and magenta (right).

When primary colour mixes, a secondary colour is created.

  • When yellow mixes with cyan, it creates green.
  • When yellow mixes with magenta, it creates red.
  • When cyan mixes with magenta, it creates blue.

Black is created when mixing all three primary colours.
