Site managers are able to merge Blog, Event, and Service tags.

Note: Merging tags cannot be undone

How to merge Tags that are synonyms

Example: Website maintainers may have created two different Blog tags such as "study tips" and "study hacks". As both of these are synonyms for each other, students visiting your Blog may only notice one of the two when using the filtering options on your Blog listing page. Merging the two together ensures all students are not missing out on Blog content that can help them with their study techniques.

  1. From the Administration toolbar, select Dashboard.
  2. Under Vocabularies (right-hand side), select Blog tags

How to merge Tags that are duplicates

Example: As Blog tags are case-sensitive, website maintainers are able to create two different Blog tags such as "Undergraduate students" (note capital "U") and "undergraduate students" (note lowercase "u"). Merging the two together avoids redundancy in your Tags.

  1. From the Administration toolbar, select Dashboard.
  2. Under Vocabularies (right-hand side), select Blog tags
