The University of Waterloo is committed to ensuring all students can access and meaningfully participate in their education by removing barriers and building capacity for personal success. Students with permanent, temporary, or suspected disabilities are encouraged to contact AccessAbility Services, which is Waterloo’s centralized office for the management of student academic accommodations, to register for supports and services.

 Your Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) is here to support your physical and mental well-being while you’re studying at UWaterloo. WUSA builds community through clubs, events and services, advocates to improve your student experience and has dedicated resources to support your health and wellness.

WUSA is proud to run the Health and Dental plan, the Food Support Service and Empower Me, a 24/7 counselling service. They also offer peer support through groups such as MATES (Mentor Assistance Through Education and Support), RAISE (Racial Advocacy for Inclusion, Solidarity and Equity), The Women's Centre and The Glow Centre. Being a student can be challenging and they’ve got your back every step of the way!
