Orientation is just 22 days away and classes start in 29... It's time to start thinking about how you'll get involved at Waterloo.
Get familiar with your Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA):
As you’ve gotten to know by now, your Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA for short) is here to meet you where you’re at, whether that’s in or outside the classroom. For more on what that means, check out the video below.
Your to-do list this week:
Explore resources to get involved - LEARN module
Although you will be connecting virtually this fall, there are still plenty of ways for you to get involved in the campus community. Whether you're looking to join a team or club, stay fit, find a part-time job, volunteer or even work on your personal and professional development, there is something for everyone at Waterloo!
Review the COVID-19 Travel and Quarantine Checklist
This September are you coming to Waterloo from outside of Canada? Travelling during COVID-19 requires preparation, including making a quarantine (self-isolation) plan for 14 days.
Connect with your Peer Mentor
They'll be checking in and providing tips to make the most of their Waterloo student experience.
Get your Parents and Supporters up to speed
If they missed the Parent and Supporter's Live Chat on August 5, there's still time for them to get caught up and ask questions at the August 11 Live Chat!
Share the parents and supporters page with them so they can sign up for a newsletter to get tips on how they can support you you throughout your first year at University.
