Waterloo Ready and Orientation may have wrapped up for fall 2020, but that doesn’t mean your support resources end here. The Student Success Office and Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association are here for you throughout your time at UWaterloo.

It's okay to ask for help, that's why we're here! Everyone's journey to success looks different because it is different. We've got five hacks for success to support your goals both in and out of the classroom.

Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association support resources:

WUSA is the official voice and one of the key supports for undergrad students at the University of Waterloo. Our student-led organization provides the services and supports you need to reach your academic goals and make the most of your university experience. 

Advocacy: We advocate for a post-secondary experience that meets students’ needs and expectations in and outside the classroom. By bringing recommendations to the university and all levels of government, we ensure students’ voices are prioritized among decision makers. 

Governance: Get involved with your student government by attending Students’ Council or reaching out to discuss issues with your elected representatives. Be sure to keep an eye out for Elections and Referenda as well as General meetings to provide your input.

Clubs & Services: Find a community that works for you. WUSA currently 11 student-run services and supports over 250 clubs and a number of student societies.

Employment Opportunities: WUSA hires many part-time and full-time student staff including the friendly faces at International News, Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinators and even our brand-new Research and Policy Assistant!

Events: With all our clubs, services, society and WUSA events, there is certainly going to be something for you. Be sure to connect with your faculty society and follow @yourwusa to keep up to date with our virtual events.
