Arts Ready modules

Later in July, you'll gain access to your Arts Ready modules through LEARN, the University of Waterloo's online learning management system. This is where many of your instructors will organize course materials, activities and assessments.

As part of Waterloo Ready, we've created modules to help you get ready for September. They will help build your skills and learn about resources available to you as a Waterloo Warrior. We encourage you to work through them at your own pace throughout the months of July and August to familiarize yourself with everything you need to know by September.

  • Module 1: Getting Ready: Welcome to the University of Waterloo
  • Module 2: Classroom Ready: Preparing yourself for learning in university
  • Module 3: Faculty Ready: Academic preparedness in Arts
  • Module 4: Campus Ready: Campus services and resources to support your first term

We'll send an email with the information needed to access these modules following the Welcome to Arts Live Session.

Course selection reminder:

Submit your Course Approval Form between June 9 and June 22.

STEP 1: Carefully review the Arts course selection web pages for your next steps. This online Arts course selection resource outlines the step-by-step course request process for each Arts program.

STEP 2: Complete the Course Approval Form. Your advisor will contact you to confirm your selections after your form is submitted. Please be patient.

Did you transfer from another university or college? Click here for your course selection steps.

If you’re not exactly sure which courses to take, just start the form and submit it – that way your academic advisor can give you feedback and you can continue to make changes with more guidance.

If you do not complete the form by the deadline you will have to add all of your fall courses yourself in July.
