Environment Ready modules

Later in July, you'll gain access to your Environment Ready modules through LEARN, the University of Waterloo's online learning management system. This is where many of your instructors will organize course materials, activities and assessments.

As part of Waterloo Ready, we've created modules to help you get ready for September. They will help build your skills and learn about resources available to you as a Waterloo Warrior. We encourage you to work through them at your own pace throughout the months of July and August to familiarize yourself with everything you need to know by September.

  • Module 1: Getting Ready: Welcome to the University of Waterloo
  • Module 2: Classroom Ready: Preparing yourself for learning in university
  • Module 3: Faculty Ready: Academic preparedness in Environment
  • Module 4: Campus Ready: Campus services and resources to support your first term

We'll send an email with the information needed to access these modules following the Welcome to Environment Live Session.

Faculty of Environment Living-Learning Community

Our Faculty of Environment Living-Learning Community will be running this Fall at St. Paul’s residence on campus and has space available! Join a community of your peers, attend study groups, and enjoy social activities delivered in person (following all public health guidelines of course).  Any questions to Stephen Prentice.

Faculty of Environment Peer Mentorship Program

Our Peer Mentorship program runs from the beginning of the fall term to help support you once Waterloo Ready and Orientation have ended. You’re automatically enrolled! You’ll get the chance to meet your peers and receive guidance from upper-year students. Contact Graham Barnes for details on how to access your peer mentorship community.
