Master's student

Gabriel is working towards his MSc at the University of Waterloo. His research is focused on vadose zone hydrology and contaminant transport. More specifically, he is examining water infiltration patterns in the upland of a reclaimed peatland watershed. He hopes to gain a better understanding of residual sodium flushing from reclaimed materials, so as to more accurately predict the effects of sodium on constructed peatland vegetation. Outside of his research, he enjoys rock climbing, playing squash, and eating cheese.
