However, with these closures came many challenges, and it became increasingly clear that childcare must reopen to some extent. However, how to reopen remains understudied and the proposed plans need evidence-based evaluation.

Dr. Dillon Browne and his team were recently published in CFP outlining the challenges to overcome for looking after mental health amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Their paper, Supporting patient and clinician mental health during COVID-19 via trauma-informed interdisciplinary systems is hopeful and realistic, and definitely worth a read.
