SUMMARY:How did computers get so smart? The Science Behind Artificial\nInte
 lligence
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:It’s everywhere now – on our phones\, in our web browsers\,
in our\nsocial media apps\, and more. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the
\nhottest thing in tech today\, but what exactly is it? In this workshop\,
\nparticipants will learn how AI and machine learning (ML) algorithms\nwor
k and where they could actually be useful. We will also discuss\nissues ar
ound data bias\, fairness\, and ethical concerns that arise\nwhen using AI
. Finally\, Participants will create an image classifier\nby training a ma
chine learning algorithm using Google’s Teachable\nMachine.
