Join the University of Waterloo Women in Engineering team in recognizing and celebrating the great achievements of Valerie Davidson as she receives her honorary doctorate from the University of Waterloo on June 18th.
Valerie has been a strong advocate for young women pursuing careers in engineering.She established the Ontario Network of WiE (ONWiE) and spearheaded Go Eng Girl which has been around for more than 15 years. Valerie also had a non-traditional career path as a food scientist, lecturer and engineering professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph for 23 years. The event for Valerie will take place on June 18th between 10:30 AM -11:30 AM in the Engineering 7 Building, Outreach Classrooms (Room 1331 on the 1st Floor).
