Walk the Talk: Building Consent Skills Together

Wednesday, October 25, 2017 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Consent is the free, informed, and continued mutual agreement to participate in an activity, especially sex. But what does that look like in everyday life? What if someone says that you or a friend broke their consent? Are you practicing consent skills in all of your relationships? Do you know what to do if you think you are witnessing sexual violence?

Join over a dozen campus, student and community organizations for an afternoon of 15 minute drop-in workshops focused on helping you build your toolbox for practicing consent in day-to-day life.

Workshops will run from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m in the SLC Great Hall. Attend three or more workshops to earn a prize!

Food and refreshments will be provided. Please register to let us know you’re coming.

This event is proudly sponsored by HeForShe and the Equity Office.

Have you been affected by sexual violence? Resources for support are available on- and off-campus.
