Writing and Communication Centre in a quilt

Quilting, an excellent metaphor for community, assembles pieces to form a whole. Quilting is also an excellent metaphor for the recursive writing process: prewriting, drafting, editing, and publishing.

Throughout the year – September 2017 to August 2018, contribute a piece of yourself by adding to this living quilt.

The Writing and Communication quilt is located on the second floor of South Campus Hall (SCH), outside of the Writing and Communication Centre.

Use the provided materials by the quilt or whatever media you wish – just ensure it’s 8.5x5.5 (half of a letter sheet of paper). When your quilt piece is ready, add it to the quilt wall.

Add multiple submissions. Throughout the year, the Writing and Communication Centre will use social media to highlight a specific event, topic, or day. Feel free to Facebook, Instagram, and/or tweet to us #WCCquilt.
