Investigating - When performing an OS upgrading on mailman (lists) last night we found a hidden unsupported dependency. No email has been lost, but it's queueing up. We'll be stopping the service, collecting the spooled emails, reverting to the old OS, and dropping the mail back in the queue for processing. This may take a few hours.

On Monday March 10th at 7:00 AM, the eduroam SSL certificate will be replaced.
Clients may receive a notification that the certificate has changed and will need to accept the new certificate. Some clients may need to remove the eduroam profile from their device and reconnect to the wireless network.

We will be performing an update to Symphony Client and servers from version 8.5.4 to 8.9.0. Both the servers and workstations will require the software update. There may be some brief downtime while the updates are being implemented. IST managed workstations will have the update pushed out automatically. If you are not using an IST managed workstation please submit a ticket to NS-Security to request the new 8.9 software file prior to the maintenance. This update is to remedy the issue with live view dropping out and displaying 'Unable to connect to video source' messages occurring after a recent Windows update. Posted on

The Quantum Nano Centre (QNC) third floor experienced a wired network interruption caused by a loss of electrical service. Plant Operations was notified to investigate and resolve the power issue in the telecommunications closet. Power has since been restored to the telecommunications closet using a temporary solution involving emergency power. Both the wired and wireless networks are now operational.

UPDATE: PXE and imaging services are back online. Please adjust all task sequences to use the new boot image CBI-10.0.26100.1-V1 (ASP0099A), this includes the latest WinPE image from Microsoft.
