United College is a non-profit educational institution affiliated with the University of Waterloo. It does not receive direct operating or capital grants from the province but shares in the university’s tuition and grant revenue in exchange for its delivery of approved academic programming.
The College is under the authority of a Board of Governors. The Board is responsible for defining the mission of the College, developing strategies to advance that mission, and ensuring that the affairs of the College are managed prudently.
The Board includes a Chancellor, who offers advice and helps to advance the profile of the institution. The Chief Executive Officer of the College is the Principal.
