Reunion 2018 was a wonderful success with over 3,162 attendees on campus celebrating their University of Waterloo pride with friends and family.
Our campus community is an important part of the University of Waterloo story, and we are thrilled so many of you came back to campus on the weekend to join the festivities.
To keep Reunion as engaging as possible for alumni in years to come, we asked for your feedback … and we listened!
Starting in 2019, Reunion will evolve into two events — one in the spring and one in the fall.
In June, we will honour all alumni celebrating a milestone anniversary — 5 to 55 years — as well as specific class reunions. These events will be part of our new Alumni Weekend.
The weekend will include a Presidential milestone luncheon as well as faculty-specific programs. We’re excited to welcome you to the festivities and celebrate your milestones with you!
The fall event will be called the Alumni Black and Gold Day.
This day will give you a chance to enjoy some good old-fashioned Warrior school spirit and show your pride in Waterloo.
Events will include a special lecture, the Warriors varsity game, the Fun Run, campus tours, and exciting opportunities for alumni and students to connect with each other.
We look forward to delivering these changes to Reunion in 2019 so you can continue to return to campus and connect with other Waterloo alumni.

The New Alumni Logo
Another exciting change for alumni is the roll-out of the new alumni logo, which will be on merchandise at the retail store on campus!
We’re making it as easy as possible for you to show your Waterloo pride wherever you are in the world.
In the near future, Retail Services will have a great online shop, so you can add to your Waterloo wear collection anytime and have your order shipped almost anywhere in the world!
The alumni logo was created to celebrate our amazing community of alumni. We hope when you see it, you will have a sense of being part of something special.
