About Tile
Tile is the perfect device for anyone that misplaces their things either on a daily basis or once in awhile. It’s the gateway to feeling a sense of relief when you suddenly realize you’re missing something valuable to you. You can stick, clip, hang, or place the Tile on or in any item(s) you want and it can be located using the Tile app, the Tile itself and/or the Tile map.
There are three different models of the Tile which include different features such as colour, battery type, Bluetooth range, volume of ring tone, dimensions, and weight. You can select which Tile is best for your needs and preferences. The three models are [1]:

Setting Up Your Tile(s)
Tile tracks items through Bluetooth which ranges to different distances depending on the Tile you have; either the Pro, Mate or Slim. To get started, there are a few simple steps to follow, which are listed below [2]:
Tile App
- Download the Tile app (available for both iOS and Android).
- Open the Tile app and register for an account.
- Enter your email address.
- Create a new password.
- Open the confirmation email you'll receive in your inbox to confirm your email address.
- Open the Tile app and log in with your email address and newly created password.
- Follow the prompts to allow Tile access to Bluetooth ® and Location Finding so you can see your Tiles on a map.
Linking Your Tile(s) to the App
- Add a Tile: Tap the + button to add a Tile.
- Press the "Tile" button or "e" button firmly on the Tile until you hear it play a tune.
- Place the Tile on your device as directed by the app.
- Pick what your Tile is going to be attached to
- Activate your Tile.
- Be happy because now you can always find your stuff!
There are many items you can use a Tile for, such as a phone, wallet, keys, backpack, water bottle, remote, your car, jacket, purse, luggage and many others. Once the app is downloaded and you’ve attached it to your item(s), you’re ready to get tracking!
When your item(s) goes missing you’ll be able to track it using the app by tapping Find on the item. The Tile attached to that item will ring and you’ll be able to locate it. However, if the device that has the installed Tile app is the object that is missing, simply locate another object with a Tile on it and press the "e" button twice to ring your device, even if it’s on silent. Another alternative is to locate the item(s) on the Tile map, which tells you where the item was last. For premium members you can see where your item(s) has been for the last 30 days which helps you retrace your steps.
Basic vs Premium
The basic and premium Tile plans require a purchase of any Tile type. The prices range depending on the type you want (Pro, Mate or Slim) and how many you want to purchase, in which they come in packages of one, two, four, or eight. The following prices are according to the Tile Website. The Pro Tile, which is the newest one, ranges from $35 US for one to $100 US for four. The Mate ranges from $25 US for one to $110 US for eight and the Slim Tile ranges from $30 US for one to $180 US for eight [3].
